Lukashenko among those present at Victory Day Parade on Moscow’s Red Square
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, is among those present at the parade in honour of the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which is taking place on Red Square in Moscow, BelTA reports
The parade is hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is joined by other CIS leaders in the stands. As the live broadcast of the parade showed, the heads of state arrived at Red Square together. Before that, the President of Russia personally welcomed everyone.
It is planned that, after the parade, the leaders will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden at the Kremlin Wall.
Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived to Moscow on a working visit in the evening of May 8th on the eve of Victory Day.
As previously reported, Belarusian cadets – the winners of the Cadet of the Year 2022 contest – are among the guests of honour at the Victory Parade in Moscow.
