Lukashenko: Americans must admit that they have worthless intelligence
This was said today by the President after reviewing the course of the Belarusian-Russian exercises Allied Resolve 2022 at the Osipovichsky training ground
Answering a question from an American journalist that Belarus, where Russian servicemen are stationed, supposedly poses a threat to Ukraine, Aleksandr Lukashenko replied, “This is the official position of your government. And these [exercises] are the official actions of Belarus and Russia. We have a Belarusian-Russian agreement, in fact, a single group has been formed: a single army. This is our official position. And, please, consider this position as we consider your position. In general, what are you doing here thousands of kilometres from home? There are your specialists in Ukraine, your troops are in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. What do you do here? Therefore, we should not be reproached. We don’t have our armed forces in Canada and Mexico, so calm down.”
The Belarusian leader also added, “You must admit, if you have a sense of conscience, that you made a blunder in this period in front of the entire world community. You accused Russia and Belarus that we would invade – yesterday – Ukraine. We didn’t. So your intelligence and the billions of Dollars you spend on it are worthless. At least admit this.”
