Lukashenko agreed to appoint new heads of Belspetsvneshtechnika and AGAT-Control Systems

Today the President of Belarus approved the appointment of Gennady Timoshevich, who previously headed the Belarusian National Reinsurance Organisation, to the position of Director General of the state-owned foreign trade unitary enterprise Belspetsvneshtechnika

Nikolai Baligatov will now head AGAT-Control Systems – Managing Company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding. Previously, he worked as Director of Agat-Electromechanical Plant.

The Head of State appointed Vasily Gursky as Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences. Previously, he headed the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences.

Timofei Zhigarev, who headed the Legal Department of the National Statistical Committee, was appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

Tatiana Stolyarova has been approved for the position of Deputy Chair of the State Committee on Science and Technology while Nikolai Schastny will work as the Director of the State Signs Department of the Finance Ministry.

Personnel changes also affected the diplomatic corps. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam, Vladimir Borovikov, will represent the interests of our country in the Kingdom of Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar concurrently.
