The Head of State welcomed the diplomats, noting that a new stage in their professional life has begun today, “I am very glad that you have decided to connect it with our country. For our part, we will do everything to make this period leave the best memories and benefit us.”

The President also stated that the diplomats' mission is beginning on the eve of very important and responsible events: elections of deputies to the House of Representatives and local councils at all levels, as well as the formation of a new constitutional democratic body – the Belarusian People's Congress. “If you are interested in this experience of public administration, then we are ready to share it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed the diplomats.

The Head of State added that the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi invaders will be a truly significant event for Belarusians this year, “You will be able to see with your own eyes how Belarusians keep the memory of the Great Patriotic War, its heroes and innocent victims.”

The President also noted that 2024 had been declared Year of Quality in Belarus, “This envisages not just an improvement in the consumer or operational characteristics of the products we manufacture. This is a course for modernisation, technical re-equipment of production facilities, creation of new jobs, and cost reduction. We really rely on you in this process, and the doors are open for you in Belarus. I am convinced that such measures will give a serious boost to our manufacturing sector. We are ready for your counter-proposals, which will organically fit into the achievement of these goals in terms of modern projects, experience exchange and acquisition of the latest developments.”
