Lukashenko about attempts to attack Belarus’ military facilities from Ukrainian territory

The West and Ukraine are still trying to drag Belarus into the war in Ukraine – as stated today by the President of Belarus during a solemn meeting in the Palace of the Republic dedicated to Independence Day

“There is only one goal: to get rid of both Russia and Belarus at one fling,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

According to him, the Ukrainian authorities are allegedly concerned that Belarusian troops could invade them from the north, “Don’t listen to them. They would be happy if we did it. They need it, because they are ordered from there [from the West]. They do not care about the death of civilians. The more Ukrainians die, the more they will shout to the whole world about the ‘atrocities of the Nazis from Russia and Belarus’. I repeat once again: we do not seek a war with Ukraine. We absolutely do not need this war because we understand that those who are still alive in Ukraine will die. We are being provoked. I must tell you that three days ago, maybe a little more, from the territory of Ukraine they tried to strike at military facilities on the territory of Belarus. Pantsir anti-aircraft systems managed to intercept all the missiles that were launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What it is? I swear to you that not a single soldier of Belarus is fighting on the territory of Ukraine.”

In this regard, Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled the capture by the Ukrainian side of more than 70 Belarusian truckers. The vehicles were taken away, two drivers were killed, and organs were cut out of their dead bodies so that it would not be visible that they had been shot.”

“What’s this? Nationalism? Nazism? This is fascism. Then we had to conduct a special operation to free our citizens.”
