Lebedev to lead CIS observer mission at Belarus’ Presidential election
CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev will be the Head of the CIS observer mission at the upcoming Presidential election in Belarus

His nomination was approved today, November 28th, at the meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and other Bodies of the Commonwealth in the CIS Executive Committee headquarters in Minsk.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting: a report on the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers’ operations for 2020-2023, a review of the CIS Council for Humanitarian Cooperation’ functions for 2019-2023, the CIS Delphic Games and their prospects until 2030. Permanent representatives will also review preparations for the next meeting of the CIS Council of Prime Ministers.
