Lavrov said Russia will respond to drone attack on Kremlin not with talk, but with concrete actions

Russia intends to respond to the attempted drone attack with concrete actions, and not think about whether it was a pretext for war or not – as noted by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, RIA Novosti reports

When asked whether the drone attack on the Kremlin could be considered casus belli, Sergei Lavrov said, “It was definitely a hostile act, it is absolutely clear that the Kiev terrorists could not have committed it without the knowledge of their ‘masters’. We will respond not by talking about whether it is casus belli or not; we will respond with concrete actions.”

Moreover, the Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that statements made by Kiev and Washington that they were not involved in the attack should be questioned. Sergei Lavrov recalled the words of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who said that the United States would not dictate to Ukraine the methods by which it defends its sovereignty.

“Well, that probably says it all,” summed up Sergei Lavrov.
