Kremlin: possible Ukrainian attacks on new regions would be viewed as an attack on Russia
Possible attacks from Ukraine on the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions after they become part of Russia will be considered aggression against the Russian Federation – as stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports
Journalists asked the Kremlin representative whether Moscow would perceive possible attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as an act of aggression against the Russian Federation after these territories become part of Russia, and Mr. Peskov replied, “It will not be anything else.”
Along with this, the press secretary of the Russian leader said that the DPR and the LPR will become part of Russia within the borders of 2014, adding that he has no information yet on the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
