Kochanova: parliamentary potential in solving global problems acts as consolidating force
Parliamentary potential in solving global problems acts as a consolidating force and can overcome any barriers between representatives of different peoples, countries and continents – as stated by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, Natalya Kochanova, at the international conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek
“Parliamentary diplomacy has always played a key role in the preservation and development of a civilised interstate dialogue, and it is vital to strengthen and expand this format in the current difficult geopolitical conditions. I would like to address the CIS parliamentarians. We understand each other not only with our minds, but also with our hearts, we represent the peoples of the same geopolitical space, and we share a common destiny. Our civilisational mission is not just to defend our unity, but also to demonstrate the evolutionary path of development to the entire world community through our successful example of parliamentary co-operation, to act as fairways of the progressive forces of humanity,” Ms. Kochanova stressed.
According to her, parliamentarians will be able to achieve success for their countries, ensure peace, tranquillity and security, put a reliable barrier to the challenges of modernity – which plunge our planet into an atmosphere of chaos and uncertainty – only by uniting their efforts.
“Together we will be able to revive the spirit of universal consent and guarantee the right to the future for present and future generations," Ms. Kochanova believes.
