Kochanova: Lukashenko and Putin love their Fatherland without measure, while serving state interests

The presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, love their Fatherland and their peoples without measure, while fully devoting themselves to serving the state interests – as stated by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, Natalya Kochanova, BelTA reports

"I sincerely believe that Belarusians and Russians are incredibly lucky to have such wise leaders at the heads of our states: President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and President of Russia Vladimir Putin. These are exceptional politicians who are hardly possible to become, but need to be born. They love their Fatherland and their peoples without measure, they fully devote themselves to serving the state interests," Ms. Kochanova said. “While looking at some countries, my heart is bleeding with compassion for innocent people who are literally forced to survive because of the insane policy of their official leadership. A thought of what could have happened if Belarusians and Russians had remained under the same government as in these countries is horrifying and produces pain. Obviously: there would have been neither Belarus nor Russia. Most likely, we would have no longer been on the world map."

"In turn, it is our obligation and moral duty as officials, public figures and ordinary citizens not to let down the Belarusian and Russian leaders. We must learn from them how to build mutually respectful equal partnership and human friendship, how to appreciate and cherish these relations, and how to ensure their continuity from generation to generation," Ms. Kochanova stressed.
