Kochanova: growth points of Belarus are in regions

During today’s working trip to the Vitebsk Region and meeting with the employees of Verkhnedvinsk Creamery, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova outlined key national development priorities and parliamentary activities

Natalya Kochanova noted how deeply Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko values regional development. According to her, Belarusian parliamentarians have the similar attitude towards regional development.

“While drafting legislation, it's crucial for us to understand local realities,” the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic explained, outlining one of the purposes of her visit. “This same principle guides our extensive work with public appeals, which the Council of the Republic has systematically developed. As the President recently stressed, the points of growth and building are here – in our country's regions.”

The Chairperson of the Upper Chamber of Parliament added that soon, on May 5th, the Council of the Republic will hold another public reception day. It will take place in the Brest Region. The speaker emphasised that the authorities hear the people, see their problems and strive to resolve them promptly. However, everything ultimately depends on the state of the country’s economy, which is sustained by many enterprises, including Verkhnedvinsk Creamery.

“It is crucial to understand that the successful operation of enterprises like this contributes directly to the country’s development,” Natalya Kochanova concluded.

The Chairperson of the Council of the Republic engaged in an open dialogue with the enterprise's employees, listening to their concerns and answering numerous questions. The central theme of the discussion became the immeasurable value of peace and stability in Belarus – which we can only preserve together through honest work and genuine patriotism.
