Kochanova: Belarus, Kyrgyzstan are friendly and close countries
Co-operation with Kyrgyzstan is important for Belarus in absolutely all areas – as stated by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Natalya Kochanova, as she met with the wife of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aigul Zhaparova
Mr. Kochanova heartily welcomed the distinguished guest to the Belarusian land and wished the Kyrgyz artistes a good performance at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Festival of Arts. “Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are friendly and close countries,” she noted. “Of course, our presidents set a solid foundation for our relations. An important political dialogue between the heads of our states is the basis of our relations. It is important for us to co-operate with Kyrgyzstan in absolutely all areas: the economy, trade (our turnover is growing, but the sky is the limit, actually), humanitarian sphere, and friendship between the youth of our countries. This is a guarantee that our states will continue their kind and friendly relations in the future.”
As noted by the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, interparliamentary co-operation is very important for Belarus. “We are grateful that we have such a wonderful relationship. Last year was especially significant, when our colleague Nurlanbek Shakiev, the Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, paid an official visit. We participated in the events of the IPA CIS in Bishkek and fell in love with wonderful Kyrgyzstan where friendly and kind people live. We need to co-operate more and work absolutely in all directions,” Ms. Kochanova added.
