King of Bahrain expressed readiness to mediate between Russia and Ukraine

The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said his kingdom is ready to become an intermediary between Moscow and Kiev – as informed by the Embassy of Bahrain in the Russian Federation, TASS reports

The diplomatic mission stressed that Bahrain is ready ‘to play any role in the field of mediation between the two sides’ without delay.

Bahrain also called on the major powers to reconsider and renew their commitments to maintain international peace and security, avoiding escalation and confrontation, and to refocus global efforts to counter the waves of extremist ideology by working together and in a co-ordinated manner to solve any political, economic or social problems.
