Khrenin: West unleashed full-scale proxy war against Russia
The military-political situation around Belarus is developing under the influence of an unprecedented political confrontation between the Russian Federation and the so-called collective West led by the United States – as stated by Belarus’ Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin at today’s meeting on military security with the President’s participation
“In fact, a full–scale proxy war has been unleashed against Russia, and its ultimate goal is to destroy the Russian statehood and transform the country into a resource colony of the West," the Defence Minister stressed. “At the same time, our country – being a strategic ally of Russia – is at the epicentre of this struggle. The analysis of the international situation and the forecast of its development enable us to draw a number of main conclusions indicating the presence of direct challenges to the military security of Belarus.”
