Khrenin: Belarusians want to work peacefully on their land, and they will never allow anyone to talk to them from position of strength
Khrenin at an award ceremony for military servicemen taking part in the brigade tactical exercise that was conducted as part of the Armed Forces’ combat readiness check, the Defence Ministry reported in its Telegram channel
Mr. Khrenin expressed gratitude to all members of the mechanised brigade, noting that the check is not yet completed, but one of its most important stages – the brigade tactical exercise – ended. He stressed that its participants will soon return to the point of their permanent deployment and hand over weapons.
"However, already at this stage, we can state for sure: the military personnel performed the tasks in good faith, demonstrated patriotism and readiness to defend the Motherland. Today is Labour Day [May 1st], and we – Belarusians – emphasise by this holiday that we want peace and work quietly on our land. At the same time, we will not allow anyone to dictate conditions to us and talk to us from a position of strength," Mr. Khrenin added.
