“I was told about the experience of Azerbaijan which opened its trading houses on the territory of Belarus. Of course, such a house of Kazakhstan will be useful and we will work on this issue. However, we will start with a more active participation of our producers in international exhibitions held in Belarus,” Mr. Karashukeyev said.
Speaking of the countries’ interaction in agriculture, he noted that it is stable and dynamically growing, “Belarus supplies much more products to Kazakhstan and we want to ensure a wider availability of Kazakhstan’s agricultural products in your country. There are great prospects in the field of processing agricultural products. Kazakhstan is very interested in Belarus' experience in milk processing. Do not forget that Kazakhstan borders with China. With this in view, establishment of joint ventures on the territory of Kazakhstan to produce food and, in particular, baby food is among the prospects for our co-operation.”
The Belarusian-Kazakh interaction in the field of variety testing and cattle breeding is also developing dynamically. “We also enjoy great prospects for liaisons in the scientific sphere. We are interested in professional development and training of our specialists in Belarusian universities, and also holding of joint scientific research. The prospects are good and are based on strategic co-operation between the two countries," Mr. Karashukeyev stated.
