Kazakhstan appreciated the work of CSTO peacekeepers

Taking important facilities under protection by the CSTO peacekeepers enabled Kazakhstan to release a significant part of its forces to fight terrorists – as reported by RIA Novosti

During the joint briefing with the Commander of the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Andrei Serdyukov, the Deputy Defence Minister of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Sultan Gamaletdinov, explained, “Taking the most important facilities under protection by the peacekeepers enabled us to release a significant part of the forces and means of law enforcement agencies and the army, which were deployed to fight terrorists.”
