Joint projects for Belarus and Uzbekistan
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, held a meeting with the Chairman of KRANTAS GROUP, Mukhtar Karimov, and a representative of the management of Uzavtosanoat JSC – as the sb.by correspondent was informed in the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Tashkent
“The parties discussed issues of co-operation of these companies with MAZ JSC for the supply of chassis for the production of special equipment on their basis, as well as with MTZ JSC for the supply of finished tractor equipment and the organisation of the production of tractors at the facilities of Uzbek enterprises,” the embassy of Belarus to Uzbekistan told the details of the meeting.
The diplomatic mission emphasised that co-operation in the field of mechanical engineering is one of the priority areas of interaction between Belarus and Uzbekistan. Joint production projects with Uzbek partners are carried out in Tashkent and other regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan by Belarusian flagships: MTZ JSC, MAZ JSC, Amkodor JSC.
“Belarus supplies the Uzbek market with a wide range of export products from almost all industries – more than 360 commodity items in total. Our country traditionally buys cotton yarn and knitwear, fresh fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan,” added the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
