Jinping: anti-Russian sanctions to become a burden for global economy

Sanctions due to the situation in Ukraine will become a new burden for the global economy – as stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping, BelTA reports with reference to RIA Novosti

During a video summit, Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed the situation in Ukraine, the Iranian nuclear deal and China's co-operation with the European Unions.

"We must make joint efforts to reduce the negative impact of the crisis," Xi Jinping said, adding that relevant sanctions will affect the stability of global finance, energy resources, transport and supply chains, while creating a burden for the global economy which is under a heavy influence of the pandemic – that is unprofitable for all sides.
