Japarov at EAEU summit in a narrow format: commitment to integration and formation of bridges between markets

The economies of the Eurasian Economic Union member states are facing a heavy burden caused by global turbulence. In this regard, a commitment to Eurasian integration should become a solid basis for development – as stated by Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, opening the meeting of the EAEU summit in a narrow format.

Addressing the participants of the summit, Sadyr Japarov particularly underlined that the event is taking place in the context of global financial and economic turbulence and the post-pandemic crisis, “There is a big burden on the economies of the EAEU member states. In these difficult conditions, it is extremely important to do everything in our power as heads of state for mutually beneficial trade-economic and investment partnerships between our countries. Our common firm commitment to Eurasian integration is a solid foundation for developing and strengthening interaction within the EAEU, building bridges between the Eurasian and other regional and global markets.”

The Kyrgyz President expressed hope that today’s event will enable them to discuss all important and relevant issues for the EAEU.
