Italian fairy-tale

National Centre for Contemporary Arts presents picturesque landscapes of Florence, Venice and Naples

Italy attracts travellers with its landscapes and architectural wonders, while many artists strive to capture these sights on canvas. Roni Goldfinger is no exception. The lady has devoted a series of her works to this sunny country and visitors to the National Centre for Contemporary Arts will definitely enjoy her Italian Fairy-Tale show.

Actually, Roni Goldfinger is the pseudonym of Veronika Krasnova who’s been finger painting for more than 15 years. The artist draws inspiration mostly from her trips. She’s been to Germany, France, Spain but it was Italy which landscapes conquered her heart.

“In the spring of 2020, the pandemic broke out and I realised that travels would not be available for a long time. I decided not to suffer but to create works which can take us to the land of the sun, cheerful people and bright culture at least for a while,” the lady smiles.

In her works, Veronika uses only bright colours to better depict Italy’s atmosphere and her own emotions. Anyone coming to the exhibition radiates joy. You are welcome as well: the show runs until October 17th.
