Iranian Ambassador: economic co-operation with Belarus is priority

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iran to Belarus, Saeed Yari, has met today with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko

The diplomat congratulated Mr. Andreichenko on the successful holding of the nationwide constitutional referendum and stressed his friendly attitude towards Belarus.

Saeed Yari added that Belarus and Iran enjoy not only friendly, but also professional relations, “We are determined to develop comprehensive relations with our friendly country: the Republic of Belarus. I believe there is now a potential for co-operation between our countries in all spheres. Of course, liaisons and co-operation in the economy are a priority. Moreover, I would like to note that there is a potential and opportunities for development of bilateral interaction in the field of science and technology.”

The Iranian diplomat stated that Belarus-Iran good political relations act as the basis for development of bilateral co-operation. He also handed an invitation on behalf of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, to Mr. Andreichenko for his official visit to Iran.
