Iran announced expansion of negotiations with Russia

Negotiations between Tehran and Moscow will expand, in particular with regard to Afghanistan’s problems – as stated by Iran’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, RIA Novosti reports

Mr. Qomi noted that only Iran and Russia are involved into the problem of Afghanistan, “This is an international issue. Naturally, the negotiations between these two countries will take place within this framework, and they will definitely strengthen and develop.”

The Special Representative of the Iranian President also noted that many factors influence co-operation between Moscow and Tehran, most of them positively. He explained that, among them, are the US intervention in the Middle East region and the conflict in Ukraine.
