“The EOC seminar has always been a special occasion for our family: a chance to move beyond the formalities of the General Assembly and start a constructive dialogue,” EOC President Spyros Capralos noted at the opening. “This year, together with our partners from the International Olympic Committee, we have advanced further by launching a new format aimed at making the event more interactive and appealing to all attendees. The goal is simple: to create a favourable environment for open interaction between the national Olympic committees, facilitate the sharing of experience and provide practical insights that will support their everyday activities.”

After the opening, a panel discussion took place featuring representatives from the national Olympic committees from different countries. The participants also took part in themed seminars covering topics such as the advancement of AI in sports, digital marketing and communications, as well as ongoing concerns related to the protection and support of athletes after their active careers have ended.

During the seminar, the laureates of the 10th Winter Piotr Nurowski Prize were announced. This year’s award went to Bulgarian snowboarder Malena Zamfirova.
