International Economic Co-operation Forum in Minsk brought together representatives of 28 countries
Meetings dedicated to City Day has become a good tradition. Minsk is a major industrial centre, and, for example, in 2023, delegations from 21 countries interested in establishing and expanding trade and economic ties took part in the forum, Minsk-Novosti reports.

The meeting is expected to be no less impressive this year: as the Minsk City Executive Committee informed, guests from 28 countries have gathered in the Belarusian capital, and the Russian Federation alone is represented by 22 regions.
The forum will be attended by heads of executive authorities, business associations, owners and top managers of large companies, representatives of organisations of various forms of ownership. Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, Belarus’ Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar, Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev, and President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov will address the participants and guests with a welcoming speech. In addition, Vice-Governor of the Penza Region Sergei Fedotov, Director of the Minsk City Technopark Vladimir Davidovich, and Head of the Minsk FEZ Administration Anatoly Buben will also be among the speakers.
The programme of the forum includes a plenary session and the work of three sections: Strategic Priorities for Economic Development; Investments, Innovations and Opportunities; Prospects for Development of Industrial Parks, Techno-parks and Free Economic Zones of Russia and Belarus, Their Role in Building Economic and Technological Independence. Meetings will be held with representatives of the administrations of neighbouring cities and regions of the Russian Federation, as well as negotiations in the small talk format.
The forum was organised by the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
