It is noted that in 2021, inflation in the Netherlands amounted to 2.7 percent.

The statistical office associates such a significant change with energy prices in the country, which were on average 114 percent more expensive in 2022 than in 2021.

However, other indicators are also important. Thus, in the Netherlands, the prices for products rose by 10.8 percent, while in 2021, on the contrary, their cost in the country decreased by 0.2 percent.

It is known that milk, cheese and eggs grew especially strongly in price, followed by meat and fish, bakery products and vegetables.
