The head of the Belarusian industrial department expressed confidence that trade-economic contacts should correspond to the high level of political relations between the two countries. He recalled that this is the third visit of the Industry Ministry to Oman this year, which indicates a high interest in establishing close mutually beneficial co-operation.

Among the promising areas Mr. Yefimov named the supply of a wide range of industrial goods: road construction, municipal, passenger, quarry, and medical equipment. The parties also discussed the prospects of co-operation in the transport and logistics sector. Following the talks, the Industry Minister invited his colleague from Oman, together with representatives of business circles, to visit Belarus to discuss practical steps to develop bilateral contacts.

Qais Al Yousef, for his part, welcomed the Belarusian delegation, noting that the visit will make it possible to co-ordinate mutual steps to develop comprehensive co-operation, and accepted the invitation to pay a visit to Belarus in Q3 2025.

“The Industry Ministry of Belarus is open and ready to actively develop relations with Oman,” Mr. Yefimov emphasised. “This country is one of the important partners for us in the Middle East. The points of growth of co-operation between our countries are primarily mutual supplies of goods. At the same time, we are ready not only to increase exports, but also to establish joint ventures in Oman for the purpose of progressive and sustainable development of bilateral interaction.”
