Indian Ambassador: Belarus is among our most important partners

Aleksandr Lukashenko has negotiated today with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus at the Palace of Independence. Alok Ranjan Jha thanked the President for the meeting and his kind words in relation to India.

The diplomat stressed, “Let me assure you that Belarus is also one of the most important partners for India in this region. As I have repeatedly noted during my communication with representatives of the Belarusian authorities, the relations between Belarus and India do not depend on the relations between India and other partners.”

Alok Ranjan Jha emphasised that India, like Belarus, is now going through an important phase of development, “It will be an honour for India to move together with Belarus along this path of economic development.
