A source – which the newspaper refers to – says the G20 countries will not be able to develop in terms of the energy transition until they share technologies with each other.

"It will take years to make the transition without technology exchange. We must co-operate and avoid restrictions [in the form of] patent rights, copyrights and intellectual property rights. We should work as a team, and this is the goal," the source said, adding that combining efforts in working on new technologies in this area will make it possible to gain more momentum.

In addition, it was stated that the countries – which have succeeded in green hydrogen technologies and other new and capital-intensive sectors – should support other states by increasing the availability of these technologies and accelerating the energy transition.
