In 2023, Belarus to host three CSTO exercises

Three out of the four exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation planned for 2023 will be held on the territory of Belarus in September – as announced by the First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council, Pavel Muraveyko, in his talk with the STV TV channel

"Three out of the four exercises held annually by the organisation will take place on the territory of our country: Interaction with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, Search with forces and means of intelligence, and Echelon with units of acquisition, technology and logistics [of the CSTO troops]. They all will be organised on the territory of Belarus in September,” Mr. Muraveyko said.

The First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council added that Minsk will host an international conference on Eurasian security, and a broad and strategic dialogue at the level of foreign and defence ministers of CSTO and China is planned.
