In 2022, Russia doubled pipeline gas supplies to China

Last year, deliveries of Russian pipeline gas to China increased by 2.63 times – worth $3.98bn, rg.ru reports

It is also noted that in 2022, the supplies of liquefied natural gas from Russia to China increased by 43.9 percent to reach about 6.5 million tonnes. In value terms, this figure increased 2.4 times, exceeding $6.74bn.

As far as other energy carriers are concerned, the exports of Russian oil to China increased by 8.2 percent which is 86.24 million tonnes for the year. Last December, Russia was ranked second in the supply of this raw material to China.
