According to the publication, the innovations will not affect ordinary tourists at the first stage. Only people who come for business purposes or for family reasons will be able to get to the special administrative region of the People's Republic of China from the neighbouring Guangdong Province.

One of the requirements for entry is to present a negative PCR test for coronavirus, done no earlier than 48 hours before arrival.
