High-level working group to be established in EAEU
A high-level working group will be created in the Eurasian Economic Union to stabilise the economies of the member states under sanctions – as reported by the Telegram channel of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), BelTA informs
“In order to create conditions for increasing the internal stability of the economy of the EAEU member states, including ensuring macroeconomic stability, as well as resistance to external challenges, I believe it is necessary to form a high-level working group consisting of ministers of economy, ministers of finance and heads of national (central) banks,” the letter of the Chairman of the EEC Mikhail Myasnikovich to the Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov is quoted.
“The joint measures developed by the high-level working group will be aimed at stabilising the commodity, currency and financial markets of the EAEU countries and the backbone sectors of national economies,” stressed the EEC.
