Gryzlov: population of Belarus and Russia should appreciate real benefits of Union State by late 2023

Boris Gryzlov, who was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus, told reporters about this after the ceremony of presenting credentials by the ambassadors of foreign states, which took place at the Palace of Independence

First of all, the Russian diplomat commented on the words of the Belarusian President that a powerful impetus was given to the development of the Union State at the meeting of the Supreme State Council last year, “I, as an ambassador, and our entire embassy will need to provide diplomatic support for all adopted decisions. There are many decisions. We are talking about the implementation of the Union Treaty. The main directions for its implementation have been adopted. This is both the military doctrine approved these days and the concept of migration policy. Actually, 28 Union State programmes are a stream of issues that we will need to painstakingly solve. It will be necessary to saturate these programmes with real laws, real normative acts. This is a very big job. Considering that these directions have been adopted for 2021-2023, I think that the population of both Russia and Belarus at the end of this period will appreciate the real fruits of our Union State. The main thing is that our citizens begin to live better. There are all prerequisites for this.”
