Golovchenko named three key tasks for the economy in 2023

At today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers under the leadership of the Head of State on the 2022 economic results and the solution of urgent goals of socio-economic development this year, Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko named three key tasks for 2023 to fulfil the established parameters of economic development, BelTA reports

“We believe that – in order to solve the tasks of socio-economic development – we should proceed from the goals set by the President in his Address to the Belarusian Nation in 2022. Let me remind you that those were two key tasks: to ensure sustainable operation of enterprises and to do everything so that an ordinary person does not feel any negative consequences of the external pressure," Mr. Golovchenko noted.

According to the PM, there are three key tasks to be solved in 2023 to fulfil the established parameters of economic development, “The first one envisages a steady operation of the real sector of the economy. The second one is the proactive investment policy of the state, and the third task focuses on the solution of the most important issues that our citizens are concerned about – such as incomes, housing, roads, healthcare, and so on," Mr. Golovchenko added.
