Golovchenko familiarised with BelAZ prospects
Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko visited the Belarusian Automobile Works (BelAZ) during his working trip to the Minsk Region
The Head of Government got acquainted with the production and model range of the manufactured equipment. At the test site, Roman Golovchenko was demonstrated the company’s promising innovations in action: an electric dump truck with a carrying capacity of 90 tonnes on traction batteries, a diesel trolley truck with a carrying capacity of 220 tonnes, as well as a new modification of a heavy duty dump truck with a carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
The Prime Minister also held a meeting where the results of BelAZ’s work for 2021 were summed up and the forecast for the company’s development for 2022 was presented.
It was noted at the enterprise that today BelAZ boasts the widest range of mining dump trucks in the world market in terms of carrying capacity classes. Moreover, the enterprise is implementing a number of projects to create high-performance innovative technique.
“Key performance indicators – stipulated by the Industry Ministry for twelve months of 2021 – will be met,” the Head of the Belarusian Government was assured at the enterprise.
According to 2022 business plan, BelAZ plans to produce industrial products at the level of 2021, with innovative goods accounting for more than 40 percent. The growth rate of the average monthly wage is expected to reach 106.6 percent.
