"Western – now former – partners openly set goals for a complete industrial, technological and financial isolation of our countries. Moreover, the collective West, perhaps unknowingly, has created the prerequisites for a new world economic crisis, which is probably the largest one in the history. The consequences of these events are difficult to predict, and [they include] destruction of global supply chains of goods, galloping inflation, and a sharp rise in energy prices. Central banks around the world are raising interest rates in an attempt to postpone or mitigate the upcoming recession processes of national economies," Mr. Golovchenko said.

"As a result, global economic growth is slowing down, and disparity in the global financial system is increasing. There is instability in prices for critical groups of goods, which will inevitably lead to fragmentation of the world economy into geopolitical blocks with their own technological structures and payment standards. This is our vision of how the situation will develop further," Belarus’ Prime Minister added.
