“Our countries enjoy a solid foundation for co-operation both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of all our integration associations. We are working to strengthen collective security within the CSTO, develop economic and humanitarian liaisons in the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union," Mr. Golovchenko said. “Belarus’ accession to the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation, which took place during your SCO chairmanship, became a landmark event, and we thank our Kazakh friends for their support in that important decision for us.”

The PM stressed that the economic agenda of the two countries is very substantial, and co-operation is developing in trade and joint projects. “Since 2021, our trade turnover exceeds $1bn, but – despite such good results – we should definitely not rest on laurels. Obviously, the potential is much greater that the one we have now,” Mr. Golovchenko concluded.
