Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory developing new export markets

The first shipment of powdered milk from the Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory was sent to Lebanon on June 13th. The export container held 25 tonnes of milk powder. Not so long ago, the company’s products also reached Cuba, with 450 tonnes of dry milk and around 50 tonnes of canned concentrated milk delivered.

“During the Belagro-2025 exhibition, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus visited our pavilion. He noted that Cubans highly appreciate Belarusian products. We are very pleased! We hope to continue our co-operation,” Yelena Lavrinovich, the Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs and Logistics at the Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory, said.

More good news is that the company will soon be launching a new, modern milk powder packaging line in zip-lock bags. This is replacing the old line, which has reached its limit. The new equipment, which is currently being commissioned, was delivered from China. The specialist says that the new equipment’s productivity is between 80 and 100 tonnes per month.

“The new line will enable us to produce powdered milk in 250-, 500- and 800-gram packages, in line with market trends and consumer preferences,” she explained.

Powdered milk is one of the Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory’s most popular products, in demand both in Belarus and abroad. China, where the Belarusian enterprise obtained the new production line, is a long-standing business partner of the company. Other countries interested in packaged milk powder from the Glubokoe facility include Russia with its large market and Kazakhstan. The Glubokoe Dairy Canning Factory currently exports to 16 countries. These include the Russian Federation, China, the CIS countries, Israel, the US, Cuba and the UAE. Samples of the plant’s products have recently been sent to the island republic of Cape Verde.
