Germany predicted complete shutdown of its economy

Refusal of Russian gas supplies could result in a complete shutdown of the country’s economy for Germany – as stated by CEO of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, Martin Wansleben, RIA Novosti reports

The economist noted, “At the moment we are approaching a real deficit situation.” According to him, Germany is threatened with a shutdown of its economy: the situation which is ‘unprecedented, at least since the end of WWII’.

Earlier, the OPEC Secretary General said that it is almost impossible to replace the export of Russian oil to the EU.
