Germany admits Latin America sided with Russia
Latin American countries view Russia's military special operation in Ukraine quite differently from most Western states – as voiced by the German ZDF TV channel, RIA Novosti reports
Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua fully support the Russian Federation. Argentina is making accusations of double standards against Western countries, while Brazil is convinced that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is responsible for what is happening.
Earlier, China’s Global Times drew attention to the fact that many countries in Asia, South America and Africa – which traditionally adhere to a non-block approach in foreign policy – have refused to support sanctions against the Russian Federation. Most states in the Middle East also speak from restrained positions on the issue of Ukraine’s crisis.
