German politician demanded Nord Stream re-launch
The Welt TV channel informed that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party co-chair and one of the prospective candidates for the Chancellor office, Alice Weidel, called on the German government to re-start gas supplies over the surviving Nord Stream line. She said that in her speech at the federal AfD congress in Riesa, Saxony, TASS reports.
Ms. Weidel said her party demands that Nord Stream be launched into operation again.
On January 11th, the congress approved Alice Weidel as the AfD candidate for the Chancellor office at the early Bundestag elections scheduled for February 23rd.
