German opinion on justice of Ukrainian regime’s struggle is ambiguous, expert says

Political expert Aleksandr Shpakovsky commented on an influx of Ukrainian refugees to Europe in his talk with Alfa Radio

Previously, Mr. Shpakovsky said that around 8 million of Ukrainian refugees would move to Europe but Germany already voices the figure of 10 million.

“The outflow of people from Ukraine will continue, and it will be quite serious. Germany will attract refugees with its serious social package. In their opinion, this will improve the demographic situation, since there is an aging population and negative forecasts in terms of fulfilling Germany’s social obligations in 30 years. However, the German economy is experiencing problems due to the situation in the world. Economic growth is slowing down, inflation is high, and the unemployment rate is rising. Refugees will produce a serious burden on the social sphere and the labour market,” the expert believes.

According to Mr. Shpakovsky, the level of Ukrainians’ legal culture is quite low, and Germans will experience difficulties as a result of this.

“The German police daily records about 200 cases related to conflicts on interethnic grounds. These are clashes between arriving Ukrainians and Russian-speaking residents of Germany. An opinion regarding the justice of the struggle of the Ukrainian regime is very ambiguous in German society now,” the expert added.
