GDP of EAEU exceeded $1,425bn in nine months
The volume of EAEU gross domestic product exceeded $1,425bn in January-September 2021 to increase by 4.4 percent against the same period last year – as reported by Eurasian Economic Commission’s Statistics Department
As noted, $1,280bn of GDP account for gross value added which structure comprises more than 31 percent of industry, 13 percent of wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
The EEC’s express review also reports that the consumer price index for goods and services in the EAEU made 100.9 percent in November 2021 against October 2021, and 107.7 percent against December 2020. A significant increase in prices for food (by 9.3 percent) and non-food (by 8 percent) products was registered. Prices for paid services increased by 4.9 percent during this period.
