Gaidukevich: NATO needs Ukrainian territory only as platform for war with Russia

NATO uses Ukrainian lands as a training ground for military operations against Russia and for the destruction of European infrastructure – as noted by deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Oleg Gaidukevich in his talk with Alfa Radio

Programme host Polina Konoga recalled the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to him, at the upcoming NATO summit, which will be held in July in Vilnius, Ukraine expects a well-deserved invitation to the alliance. If it does not come, then, according to Zelenskyy, most people in Ukraine, the EU and NATO countries will not understand this.

In turn, Oleg Gaidukevich focused on the fact that there is simply no one to invite to NATO, because Ukraine, in fact, does not exist today as an independent entity.

“Ukraine is a training ground for military operations against Russia, a training range where NATO supplies any ammunition and uses this territory to destroy the infrastructure of the European Union, to weaken the Russian Federation. On the other hand, the alliance fears a direct clash with Russia. It is fighting indirectly in Ukraine. For it, the Ukrainian territory is a tool, but not the country that it would like to make happy, not the country that [members of the organisation] would like to see in NATO. They don’t need it. The Prime Minister of Hungary correctly said that ‘Ukraine is completely dependent on the West’. If the flow of money stops today, Ukraine ceases to exist in principle. What kind of independence, subjectivity can we talk about? They will not live a day without the direct help of the West, everything is destroyed. How many people have left? 20 million people! After all, most of them will not return, they will live there [in the West]. It hurts us to look at it. We are well aware that Ukrainian politicians are primarily to blame, who have been ruining their country for decades and got results. Therefore, I do not believe in any entry of Ukraine into NATO.”
