Gaidukevich: leaders of Belarus and Russia save Europe

The Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on International Affairs, Oleg Gaidukevich, shared his views with the ONT TV channel

“As soon as Ukrainian politicians began to declare that there would be no invasion [by Russia] and asked to pacify the western rhetoric, they were immediately called to silence. Another aspect is that the leaders of Belarus and Russia are literally saving Europe from war today. Our sustained position, ignorance of provocations and refusal to make abrupt movements are saving their countries in fact. The economy should also be taken into account. The US has taken advantage of this situation and is now trying to weaken Europe. The country has regained its positions in the sale of shale gas and oil. How many oil and gas tankers has it sold to the EU amid the ongoing hysteria? It is not worth talking about the economy of Ukraine: it is now being destroyed without any invasion. Figures are already available: 65,000 entrepreneurs have stopped their activities. In addition, prices are rising significantly, and capital outflows are registered,” Mr. Gaidukevich noted.
