Former UK PM warns of decline in country’s international prestige

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has said that the United Kingdom would face a decline in international prestige and slipping gently into a lower league of nations if the government of Boris Johnson does not change its tactics – as reported by

“Without a radical shift in policy, we face a steady, inexorable compound decline, similar to that of the second half of the 20th century. It could be several years before we realise this, but with our present course, we are relegating ourselves to a league which is poorer, less prosperous and less powerful,” said Mr. Blair.
