Foreign teams arrived in Belarus to participate in International Army Games 2022

Teams from Venezuela, Iran, Sudan, Russia and Uzbekistan arrived in Belarus to participate in the Polar Star competition of the International Army Games 2022 – as reported by the Belarusian Defence Ministry in its Telegram channel

The servicemen have already received everything necessary for the competition, including weapons, and the Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Major General Vadim Denisenko, personally conducted the draw.

The International Army Games 2022 will be held from August 13th-27th, and the Polar Star event will be hosted by Brest. The opening ceremony will be held on August 14th in the Brest Hero Fortress, featuring the participants from Belarus, Armenia, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iran, Cameroon, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mali, Russia, Syria, Sudan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The military will compete in 36 sports on the territory of 12 countries. The competition will be hosted by Azerbaijan, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Uzbekistan.
