Belarus’ Foreign Ministry representative: European diplomacy once again admitted its powerlessness
Belarus’ Foreign Ministry has got access to a pre-prepared statement from the EU on the election results in Belarus, Foreign Ministry representative Anatoly Glaz stated at a briefing today, commenting on the EU's pre- prepared statement
“If such a statement by the European External Action Service (EEAS) is adopted, it will become yet another proof of the EU's planned interference in the internal affairs of other countries and an attempt to cover up and legitimise its criminal actions against the Republic of Belarus,” Mr. Glaz emphasised. “This is unacceptable for sovereign Belarus. Any such attempts will receive an appropriate response. The EEAS statement we have studied also shows that European diplomacy has once again admitted its powerlessness against the background of Belarus’ willingness to find solutions to specific challenges, including, e.g., cross-border issues.”
