FM: Belarus ready to help India overcome challenges related to food security
Belarus is ready to assist its Indian friends in achieving the goals of industrialisation and mechanisation of agriculture, and in overcoming challenges related to food security – as stated by First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Lukashevich at a recent solemn event on the occasion India’s Republic Day
Mr. Lukashevich emphasised, “The main directions of our interaction in the near future are laid out in the roadmap for the development of key areas of co-operation between Belarus and India for 2024-2026. We plan to hold a regular meeting of the Belarusian-Indian commission for co-operation in the fields of economy, trade, industry, science, technology and culture soon, thus continuing the intergovernmental dialogue aimed at identifying and implementing new bilateral economic and humanitarian projects.”
The First Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the Belarusian side is interested and taking all necessary measures to maintain high dynamics of political contacts. “In this regard, we look forward to continuing our intensive communication at the high and highest levels,” he added.
